While IUPUI Athletics Department strives for success on and off the field, the department is committed to providing a first-rate athletics experience to all student-athletes. Whereas on the playing fields, championships are measured in terms of wins and losses; off the field, championships are measured by earning a degree from the university. We invite your business to join our 16 Division I athletic teams as we continue to build a tradition of athletic and academic excellence. IUPUI athletics, “Where Champions are Made!”
WHY IUPUI ATHLETICS?
- IUPUI Athletics will customize sponsorship packages to provide the greatest return for your investment. Sponsorship packages range from as little as $250
- IUPUI will serve as an official host for NCAA Championships competed in Indianapolis (including men's and women's basketball Final Fours) and will have opportunities for sponsors to be involved

- IUPUI has 16 sports with over 200 student-athletes with 78.1% of our student-athletes from the state of Indiana (182 of 233) – most among any in-state Division I school

- Last year alone, 48 student-athletes earned a spot on The Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence, 100 made Academic All-Conference honors, 133 had a 3.0 GPA, six were recognized among IUPUI’s top 100 students, while the Jaguars performed nearly 1200 hours of community service.
- IUPUI Athletics has received nationwide coverage from; ABC World News Tonight, NY Times and LA Times, regarding Men’s Basketball Coach Ron Hunter’s involvement with Samaritan’s Feet.
IUPUI Athletics understands that in these tough economic times many companies have had to cut back on budgets and that is why the IUPUI External Relations Department strives to provide every sponsor the ability to customize sponsorship packages that will get allow them to get the most return for their investment. IUPUI is fortunate to be located blocks away from downtown Indianapolis with offers our student-athletes many opportunities that other university student-athletes do not have. Also our urban fan base opens up a diverse audience to fit any sponsor's advertising objectives as well as their budget. Sponsorship items include traditional marketing opportunities such as program ads, signage and web site banners, while offering many other advertising opportunities such as game sponsorship, tickets, radio and web streaming ads, marketing tables, promotional events, as well as many others.
