HUNTER TO SERVE AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR ANNUAL SOFTBALL ALUMNI DINNER

INDIANAPOLIS - Head Basketball Coach Ron Hunter will serve as this year's keynote speaker at the IUPUI softball program's third annual Alumni Dinner. The dinner will take place on Friday, September 25 at the Milano Inn (231 S. College Ave.) at 6:00 p.m.. The Alumni Game will then take place on Saturday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the IUPUI Softball Complex.

Hunter is entering his 16th year at the helm of the men's basketball program and recently gained national acclaim for her charitable work with Samaritan's Feet.

Tickets cost $20 and are available by contacting Head Coach Maggie Calcaterra at mcalcate@iupui.edu. In addition, any former softball student-athletes wishing to participate in the Alumni Game are urged to contact Calcaterra directly. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society - Making Strides Walk.

Like always, a silent auction will be held on the night of the event. Former softball standouts Staci May and Bridget Fournie have served as keynote speakers the past two years.
