FARGO, ND - When IUPUI takes the floor on Thursday night at North Dakota State, the game will feature The Summit League's top defensive team against the league's most high powered offense. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EST from the Bison Sports Arena with pregame coverage beginning on XL 950 at 7:30 p.m.. Live video can also be seen by subscribing to the IUPUI LIVE! package.

IUPUI (9-5, 2-1 Summit) allows a league-low 59.7 points per game and holds opponents to just 40.5 percent shooting from the floor. Scoring hasn't been an issue for North Dakota State (8-5, 3-1) this season as the Bison come in netting a league-best 84.2 percent and hitting 41.9 percent from three-point range.

NDSU's top four scorers all shoot better than 42 percent from three as Summit League Preseason Player of the Year Ben Woodside ranks among the top 10 nationally in scoring (23.5 ppg) and assists (7.5 apg). Inside-outside threat Brett Winkelman is averaging 19.3 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game.

The Bison are 5-0 at home this year while the Jags are 3-4 away from home this season.

IUPUI freshman Alex Young is amidst an incredible rookie season, ranking 10th nationally in scoring average (15.1 ppg) among frosh. His current 15.1 scoring average stands as the fourth-best by a freshman in school history and is the highest mark by a Summit League rookie since Oral Roberts' Ken Tutt averaged better than 20 a game in 2003-04.

Recently, junior #Robert Glenn# has helped pick up the scoring slack as the 6-foot-7 junior is averaging 12.0 points per game the past four outings off the bench. Glenn leads The Summit in blocked shots at 1.93 and is shooting 63.3 percent from the floor. Sophomore Leroy Nobles, who was re-inserted into the starting lineup in the 59-54 win over Southern Utah last Friday, is coming off a 13-point effort.
