KANSAS CITY, Kan. - IUPUI junior midfielder Katrina McCrory has been named an NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-Central Region Second Team selection. McCrory enjoyed a banner season for the Jaguars, also earning First Team All-Summit League honors and Second Team Academic All-District from CoSIDA.
McCrory helped propel IUPUI to a school record 13 wins and the program’s first-ever share of a Summit League regular season crown. Individually, the Bloomington South High School-product finished the season with seven goals and a team-high four assists in her 20 starts. Her 18 points tied for sixth-most in The Summit while her three game-winning goals tied for fifth.
She had a pair of multi-goal games this past year, including tallying twice in a critical 4-2 win over Western Illinois on Oct. 19. She had previously scored the game-winner two days earlier against Southern Utah and was later named the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week.
Academically, McCrory holds a 3.75 grade point average in the Kelley School of Business and is majoring in finance. She’s a two-time Academic All-Conference selection and been chosen to the Commissioner’s List for Academic Excellence the past two years.
McCrory enters her senior season ranked fourth on IUPUI all-time list in goals scored (12) and shot attempts (104) and sixth in points (29). She’s also tied for eighth in career starts with 50.
