INDIANAPOLIS -- The IUPUI women's tennis team dropped their first two matches of the 2010 spring season, falling 5-2 to Butler and 6-1 to Marquette on Saturday. However, the Jaguars received solid performances from several players, most notably #Hunter Bullock# at No. 1 singles. Bullock continued her strong play into Sunday's match versus Illinois State, winning at No. 1 in IUPUI's 6-1 defeat.
ELMHURST, Ill. -- The Summit League has announced that the IUPUI women’s tennis team was picked to finish sixth in a preseason poll of the league’s nine head coaches. The Jaguars, who return two letterwinners from last year’s team, received 26 points in the poll.
INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced that 139 student-athletes posted a 3.0 grade point average or better for the recently completed fall semester, earning Academic Advisor’s List honors. The total is the top recorded fall semester total in the program’s history and 34 better than last fall’s total of 105.
INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Office of Alumni Relations have announced the five member Hall of Fame Class of 2010. The 2010 class will be comprised of former men’s basketball standouts Matt Crenshaw and Kim King, women’s tennis star Michelle Cunningham and men’s golfer Adam Darrow. In addition, the 1972 men’s basketball team will be inducted collectively, becoming the first team to earn the department’s highest honor.
